COVID-19 News Update

November 18, 2020

Residents, Families and Partners:

As previously promised, we want to provide you with an update about what is going on in our Community related to COVID.

We just completed another round of testing on residents and staff on Monday, November 12.  We received the results today, and all tested negative!

After November 10, residents were no longer required to quarantine as long as they took precautions to wear a mask, practice good hand hygiene and engage in social distancing when outside of their rooms.

If we continue the trend of no new positive COVID findings until November 30, we will be deemed to be out of our current “outbreak” status in the Community.   We will update on our progress or any new positive findings.  Meanwhile, our staff continues its infection control efforts to prevent or mitigate the spread of the virus in our Community.

Scandinavian Court thanks you for your support of the staff caring for your loved ones during this surge in cases in Wisconsin.

Please continue to report any changes in conditions in yourself if you are a resident or your loved one within the Community. As previously advised, if you do feel like you or your resident loved one are experiencing any health changes, we would ask that residents stay in their rooms as much as possible while we obtain COVID testing or any other assistance you may need. The virus has presented in many different forms so any change in condition should be reported.

As always, if you have an immediate concern, please email or call me. Our phone lines are often busy, especially after hours and on weekends.
